Peloton partnered with Firefly Inclusion Solutions to craft a multi-tiered approach to deliver a robust, long-term diversity + inclusion agenda unique to Peloton and their teams. The following are a few examples of what we accomplished:

  • Designed Leader-Led Listening Sessions delivered across the business to practice ‘listening to the system’ and define what anti-racism efforts looked like at Peloton
  • Conducted an organizational Inclusion Audit + Systems mapping
  • Created a 9-month executive development Transformation experience for C-suite leaders
  • Lead 200 director+ leaders on a multi-part leadership journey individualizing their role in Prototyping Inclusion at Peloton.
  • Launch the Brave Conversations speaker series by providing coaching and support on procuring well known authors, speakers, professors, and athletes
  • Designed and lead curriculum on Activating Allyship Culture for all people managers across the organization.

RESULTS

In June of 2020, Peloton made the commitment to their team and the world to become an anti-racist organization. Specifically, these commitments included  

  • Disproportionately increasing pay for our hourly team members.
  • Unlocking career opportunities for our team members.
  • Supporting the fight against systemic racism at the institutional level.
  • Doing our part to democratize access to fitness and bring health and wellness to all communities.
  • Delivering on a robust, long-term agenda of diversity + inclusion programs and goals.

Achieving the work outlined in the Pledge is a massive undertaking that requires significant learning and unlearning to do as individuals and as an organization.

We have been so grateful for the leadership and support of the Firefly team. Firefly supported Peloton with unique learning journeys designed to upskill our leaders around Allyship, Inclusive Leadership and a transformation journey with our Exec team to help us self-interrogate as well as uncover biases, blind spots and mitigate harmful behaviors that may get in the way of innovation, growth, and our desire to be an anti-racist organization. 

Oana and her team are highly skilled facilitators with incredibly thoughtful approaches that create safe spaces for our leaders to engage in dialogue on very difficult topics such as race in white supremacy behaviors. These topics aren’t easy!
